Once you register your application name and redirect URL, you will receive a Client ID and a Client Secret to call Humana’s FHIR APIs. Note that registering for the sandbox is a separate experience than registering for an HDX account.

Test Our APIs Before Creating an HDX Account

You can test our APIs using Humana’s FHIR Sandbox. The Humana FHIR Sandbox data is fake data that has been generated to replicate our real data. Helpful things to consider when using this data:

Sandbox data was generated using the same logic as real data, so all fields and data formats are accurately representative.
The quantity of data associated with a single user is representative of a real person.
Procedure codes and diagnosis codes are randomly generated. There is no relationship between these codes, between resources, or even within resources.
Cost information should be logical, moderately realistic, and add up to correct sums.

A minimum one-year, initial contract period may be required for some dental and vision plans, excluding Dental Savings Plus.

The website is maintained outside of New York state and the insurer is not authorized to transact the business of insurance in New York.

Humana individual life insurance plans are offered in New York by Humana Insurance Company.
